You should know:
Pamelor may cause suicide thoughts and actions, especially in teenagers and people under 24 years old. In case you have suicidal thoughts, panic attacks, insomnia, hyperactivity, worsening of depression or getting irritable, call your doctor immediately. Your doctor should watch you for first several weeks of your treatment.
Don’t use pamelor if you had а heart attack or if you use an MAO inhibitor like isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil), rasagiline (Azilect), selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam), or tranylcypromine (Parnate) or have used it less than 14 days ago.
Your doctor should know:
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, going to become pregnant or breast feeding. Quetiapine can harm your baby.
Your doctor should also know about your:- allergic reactions to one of the pamelor’s components
- history of diabetes or heart attacks;
- heart or thyroid problems;
- seizures;
- glaucoma;
- problems with urination;
- schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or other illness;
How should I take Pamelor?
Follow the precise recommendations of your doctor.
Swallow nortriptyline without chewing or crushing it.
In case you miss your dose, take the medicine as soon as you remember. If the time is close to a time of your next dose, take your medicine and skip the missed dose. Never take two doses at once!
If you think you overdosed the medicine – call an ambulance immediately, because it has grave consequences!
