You should know this:

Propecia is a medicine, which may cause abnormal formation of genitalia in male babies. So, if you are or may be pregnant, avoid contact with Propecia tablets. Propecia has an active component (finasteride), that is absorbed trough through the skin. Children and women mustn't even handle this drug. Do not handle also crushed or broken tablets. If you come into a cotact with finasteride, wahs up your hands immediately with water and soap and call your doctor. Consult with your doctor in case you feel any pain in breast or notice some nipple discharge, breast lumps or any other changes in your breast. Maybe, these are a sympthoms of men's breast cancer.


Your doctor should know this:

Let your doctor know, if you have an allergy to a drug called dutasteride or to finasteride.

Your doctor should also know about your:

• prostate cancer, problems with urinating or blockage in the urinary tract
• plans to become pregnant
• breast-feeding
• liver problems or abnormal liver enzyme tests
• allergies to any medicine, food, etc.
• bladder muscle problems
• taking other drugs or dietary supplements

Call your doctor before you start or stop taking propecia and in the case of changing its dose.


How to take Propecia:

Propecia should be prescribed by your doctor. Ask your pharmacist if you have any additional questions.

- Take your medicine by mouth with or wihtout food. Take only the reccomended dose or consult with your doctor.
- You may notice any improvments after up to a 3 months of taking Propecia. Continue using a medicine even if you noticed the changes.
- Take your missed dose of Propecia as soon as you remember. If the time is close to take next dose, skip the missed dose of medicine and take the next one. Important: do not take two doses at once!

To get the best results:

Take Propecia regulary for 12 month to get benefit. Propecia will work for a long time only in case you continue taking it!
